Lately I have folk, world and ethnic dressing on my mind. I’d like to incorporate small elements into my daily dress, but not in a obnoxious way. My favorites: Hungarian folk dressing, Poland mountain people, Japanese hippies, hats, African prints and indigenous footwear.
(Bernhard Willhelm has always been good at ethno-techno looks)
Here is part one, of Fehérlófia. There are eight parts, but I didn’t feel like posting them all. Fehérlófia, is a well known Hungarian Animation.
Found an interesting essay on Animated cartoons in Hungary. I have been able to find little information in English on this subject. May I note? One of my favorite animated features Cat City, hails from Hungary.
I found these photographs on a website, when I was looking for something entirely different. I found some information in English, most of which was in Hungarian. I instantly fell in love with these photographs, of Hungarian Folklore.. There’s something a little eerie abut the images. I especially enjoy the images of masks and funeral.
I’d like more information, and if you can read the website for me, that would be greatly appreciated.
