Comme des Garcons S/S 2009
Elements of Greek Soldiers, bike couriers (note the male leggings) and Edwardian. I would wear almost every single piece in this collection. Besides all the black, I really like the male skirts, we haven’t seen many of them, since the hay-day of grunge? No?

Let us lust: Maison Martin Margiela gift bow ring
I love gift bows, I’d wear on as a hat if I was an eccentric. This is the ultimate power ring.

Robert Downey JR in GQ shot by Terry Richardson
I ignore GQ magazine by all means. I may look at it, once a year. If I need to submerge in Mens Life & style, I choose: Vogue Hommes International or HUgE magazine. Yes, I am snobby that way. My Dad gave me a May 2008 copy, in regards to helping him pick out a new pair of dress pants. I gave the magazine a skim through. I was happy to see Robert Downey JR ( I am kinda a fan) on the cover and with a “fun” Richardson photo shoot. I’ve said before, Richardson is a grey area, but I will only pay attention to his work, if he shoots someone I enjoy….

looks I like: “Lets talk about Maxi skirts”
I recently spotted one of my friends looking like a Marrakesh dream in a maxi caftan dress. It looked mouth watering good. I felt inspired, I have the word “maxi” on my mind. Not only, does it have a sleek “don’t touch” sexiness, it looks pretty comfortable. The question is, how do I wear one? Daul Kim does it well, wearing CDG F/W 07 like its no big thing……

Kisho Kurokawa
A personal favorite of mine: Kisho Kurokawa (1934-2007), it must have been photographs of the Nakagin Capsule Tower that caught my eye as a youngling. So very outer space.
