HUNT & GATHER FOR THE VISUAL

Known for Silk-screened sweatpants, made to look like jeans, TATA keeps with the tradition of Surrealism:

Number (nine) is one of my favorite labels, I’ve been watching them for a few years and I pretty much love each collection. When I saw the Autumn/winter collection for 2008, I felt pretty disappointed. I turned my nose up. I thought it was a horrid overdose of Americana and grunge fashion. Now, after a couple look overs, It’s grown on me. I like the work-boots, the woolly socks, over-sized Indian sweaters and don’t forget the moccasin gloves. Its titled “My own private Portland” which couldn’t be more right.

On my wish list right now: vintage “Boy London” t-shirt. Actually any vintage Boy London, would be nice. I am so drawn to their logo. My sister wore one in the late 1980s. Perhaps it somewhere in the depths of my parents house? I once passed up a pair of rusty orange suede platforms, in a charity shop.images: http://www.cultheroes.com/

Perhaps I will bring some color into my life? No? One step at a time. I’ll start with a t-shirt.
