1988-1991 UK “rave flyer” design

I stumbled across these flyer designs from the early UK rave era, when I was researching something totally unrelated. Mostly The flyer’s are from the London area during 1989-1990. Some of them were horrendous, but most of them were charming and actually kinda good. The one above is used from an old  COMME des GARÇONS  advertisement. You can see where Bernhard Willhelm, TONITE, Perks & Mini get some of their inspiration? No?

Mel’s new mits

A gift from a good friend, who picked them up at from Agent Provocateur, a store I never really thought of going into, ever. These gloves caught my eye, because of the red color and the zipper detail. I’d be looking for a good pair of gloves to keep my paws warm (that aren’t skeleton gloves, like I’ve been wearing the past winters, hence complaints from friends) therefore they were a perfect gift! Merci beaucoup!!!!
